How Can Computer Network Training Help My Business?

The Information Technologies sector has quickly become one of the largest industries in the business world. Computer programming and network configuration are two of the most popular jobs among college graduates presently, and with good reason. In the last decade, technology has advanced in leaps and bounds, which means that any business will only really benefit from implementing and understanding the latest technologies.
A computer network can only help a business’ bottom line as it reduces, or may even eliminate altogether, latency, increases efficiency and keeps the business connected. A computer network installation requires plenty of planning and foresight, but it is well worth it in the long run. However, the computer network cannot be simply set up and left alone, which is where computer network training comes into the picture.
If a business is to use a computer network, there needs to be a considerable amount of organization involved. Part of computer network training and preparation is to determine how many people will be using the network, how it will be used and the number of people that will use it locally (in the office) and remotely (offsite). It is also important to know how many computers and devices, including peripherals like printers, scanners and servers, will be required for the network in question.
Before there is any consistent computer network training, technology issues and requirements should be discussed. Obviously there will be computers, but what else? Plan out and discuss what is needed in the way of hardware, software, switches, servers, back-up devices, network operating systems and even things as simple as cables. Part of computer network training also involves the preparation and consideration of any required licenses, responsibility requirements, and security measures.
If there is an existing network in place, the technology department (IT Department and network operators) should regularly train on all of its aspects. Regular review sessions should be scheduled, perhaps along with consistent security reviews of the system. If a new computer network is implemented, there should always be sufficient training so that staff can make the transition smoothly.
There is a multitude of ways that staff can undergo computer network training. If the business employs in-house IT staff, an employee specialising in computer network programming may be in charge of keeping everyone informed. There are also classroom opportunities or seminars where an instructor may visit the office to train the staff. Additionally, there is computer based training (CBT) and web based training (WBT) that are very similar to their CD and DVD counterparts. Furthermore, there is no shortage of books and other reference materials.
Regardless of the method chosen for computer network training, it is an essential part of a successful business. Many companies integrate large, intricate networks and must take into account the tightening data protection laws and security measures. Having a staff that is well-versed in computer network issues ranging from design, planning, implementation, security precautions and maintenance, can only help to ensure the overall efficiency, productivity and success of a business.

You need a business plan (what you'll do, how you'll do it, and who your customers are going to be). That's the short version.
You need enough working capital to keep your business going until it can pay for itself.
I would highly recommend a class on small business – check with your local SBA (Small Business Administration). They can offer a lot of help.
I've started and run several small businesses. I currently manage my husbands small business.
Think through all the possible scenarios (good, best, bad, and worst). How will deal with each of these.
Good Luck

More people fail than succeed in network marketing. To do network marketing right you need two thing. First you must believe in this form of selling. For that is what it is. Selling. However, you have to purchase monthly an x amount of products. And some companies they will sell you training materials and other business assessories. Its not an easy business to do if i can even use the term business. For what are you actually selling. Most people got into it becasue of the product but for the network business to work, you must RECRUIT people. And more likely than not you will start with you friends, relatives and coleagues. Soon you will run out of names and that is when the rubber meets the road. You must be a natural sales guy to do this. To stay in the system you must start recruiting and sponsoring. So you must commit to the sales process, prospecting, cold calling…all these is good and fine if you are selling a product you love but i bet you you will end up doing what you dont like, recruiting people. After a while everybody becomes a digit and a potential recruit. Be warned there is a lot of i mean a lot of hype. Dont get sucked into it. Dont commit just to shake off whoever is pestering you if any. There is no coincidence in life, if there is its God or the salesmen. Once they are onto you you, unless you say no you will be sucked in. To them its a sales process, you continue the journey, you will end up on their conclusion. Think very carefully. If its a good business, you do not have to justify yourself . Let the business justify your involvment. Not the other way round.

Well – first things that come to my mind… :
Car and "lab" equipment. You need to get to your client quick and you need to have enough spares to check what is broken simply by replacing the unit. You also need most commonly needed spares – power supply block, replacement coolers, replacement hard disk etc etc etc
Make deal with some local components distributor – so you can buy components directly and at lower cost. For many of your clients TIME will be essential.
Try to find something that differentiate you from other technicians.
learn as much network stuff as you can do. When you have little cash – get some Microsoft certificates under your belt – the courses are costly but it will break your "amateur" appearance and open a way to richer clients.

The best ability to determine viability is your ability to market yourself. Can you recruit enough students to make it worth your while? How will your students know you exist? If you can develop a mechanism to recieve referrals, its a great idea.

Your thoughts seem not well advanced.
This might be a good business, but you will have to do more than just one class to make enough money toi make it worth while.

Hi,
You must have good Contracts/Clients first… Without contracts and secured cash flows most of the companies gets shutdown sooner.
If you have not done it before in the business then do it first but learn it from someone else… This would minimize the risk…
Ideally in today’s world if you have contract then you try to fins an existing setup which can do the job up to the task. I suggest outsourcing your work an existing company and learn how they work on your assignments … Once you learn enough then you can start up your own company with least risk.
Visit this company http://www.techages.com
They set up in exactly the same manner… they can help you…
